Costa do Sauípe is not only concerned with actual things or the present moment. We also concentrate our efforts in environmental preservation and in keeping local traditions.
Costa do Sauípe is located in the midst of an ecological route named Linha Verde and it was conceived through careful environmental impact studies. Coconut groves dominate the landscape in an almost four miles coast of wild beaches. Out of the coast, in the interior, we can find smooth dunes of very white sand spotted by some passages of Mata Atlântica (Atlantic Forest), ponds and rivers. All constructions harmoniously cohabit with the abundant nature that surrounds the resort.
On the cultural aspect, there are several activities stimulating the continuity of Bahia’s popular manifestations. From capoeira to craft, from culinary to music, we are concerned in preserving the most important characteristics of our state. Besides, Costa do Sauípe is devoted to work with the surrounding communities to make sure that the whole region will benefit from the enterprise presence.
Berimbau Program is an example. Its 41 projects help to qualify workers, promote the organization of self-sustainable cooperatives and also embrace preservation causes to defend the area’s unique natural resources. All of these actions will allow us to always keep enjoying the stunning landscapes offered by Sauípe destination. After all, the future is now.
